SMS Finger Replacement for both new and existing Zymark style Varian Sample Changers to lift the sample by contact with the spinner turbine vs. the sample tube.
Current calibration required if for an existing system. Installation by the user entails unscrewing existing fingers and replacing them with the new version. Small height differences between the SMS table and the top of the upper barrel are then removed by exchanging the standard funnel with a new one containing shim rings, enabling -2 mm to +13 mm adjustment in 1 mm increments.
